HOLIDAY BLANKET DRIVE
Help us collect and deliver blankets during the 2007 holiday season.
1200 blankets were donated by the community during last year's 2006 holiday season!
All of the blankets were distributed to twenty-two (22) area homeless shelters and
assistance programs that gave blankets to their residents and clients.
The expressions of gratitude to the community ~ priceless!
We were greatly encouraged by the generous local support, as were
twenty-two (22) organizations that received the donations.
So simply put, please accept our sincere THANK YOU!
VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME
Volunteering is a direct way to help the homeless. Volunteering your time and skills
to help your community can be an exciting and rewarding experience. We can help
you find ways to give back to your community by connecting you with ways to
volunteer at local nonprofit organizations that serve the homeless.

We will try to connect you with an appropriate shelter or homeless program
that fits your skills, talents or interests. You must then meet the requirements
for volunteers at that shelter or program.
Example: the school liaison for homeless children will screen for tutoring.
