Short-term transitional housing for adult men and women in need of substance abuse counseling, housing and supportive services after successful completion of a primary residential treatment program.  All meals are provided.  Laundry facility on site.  Access to telephone.  Must be sober for approximately 30 days prior to program entry.  Must be appropriate for substance abuse halfway house treatment and willing to participate in treatment.  Maximum length of stay is up to one year.  Capacity is 10 persons.  Fees based on a sliding fee scale.

Long-term transitional housing and treatment program for adult men and women who are diagnosed with both a substance abuse addiction and a chronic mental illness.  This program is for a limited population.  All clients must be referred through Linn County MHDD Services and must be appropriate for participation in a highly structured program.  Maximum length of stay is two years.  Capacity is 10 individuals.

Transitional housing for women only, 18 years of age or older, who do not have children living with them.  Call for appointment.  Must be able to work 20 hours a week and be able to live independently. Fees range from $30 to $60 per week, depending on length of time resident is in program. Maximum length of stay is up to one year, but may be extended by mutual agreement.  Capacity is 15 women.

Transitional housing for non-system youth, both male and female, between 16 and 21 years of age, including those pregnant or parenting.  Youth cannot have a DHS social worker or juvenile correctional officer.  Case management services and group counseling are provided.  Maximum length of stay is 18 months.  Capacity is 10 youth.

Transitional housing for persons that meet the HUD definition of homelessness and have no other means to obtain housing.  Compliance-based program follows a self-sufficiency plan that involves employment or vocational training.  Rent is paid at 30% of adjusted income.  Capacity:  44 unit apartment complex and 21 scattered site units.

Transitional housing for adult men and women at least 18 years of age who are homeless and in the early stages of recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs.  Provides a supportive environment where residents can practice sobriety, learn recovery skills and integrate themselves back into the community.  Facility is co-ed.  Maximum length of stay is up to 18 months.  Capacity is 23 persons.  Program fees are $250 per month.
